MLS Laser Therapy may be used for many causes of pain, inflammation, and tissue irritation. It can be used as a standalone treatment or as part of a broader plan with Scrambler Therapy when appropriate.
Scrambler Therapy focuses on abnormal pain signaling within the nervous system. MLS Laser Therapy focuses on painful, injured, or inflamed tissue. For selected patients, both may be used to address different parts of the pain problem. Not every patient needs both.
MLS Laser Therapy is $50 per body part per treatment. Same-day laser appointments may be available when the schedule allows.
MLS Laser Therapy is non-invasive, but every patient should be screened. Treatment should be avoided or specifically reviewed in situations involving the eyes, known photosensitivity, light-sensitive medications, light-triggered seizure disorders, pregnancy over the uterus, suspicious or known cancerous tissue, active hemorrhage, areas recently injected with steroids, certain pacemaker areas, vagus nerve, thyroid/carotid sinus region, or bone growth centers before skeletal maturity.
